Trip to Hawaii

My heart felt like if it was beating a million times per minute when I landed in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was my first time flying on my own. I felt like all eyes were on me because I was a teenager flying by myself, but I didn’t mind because I knew it would be all worth because what was waiting for me when I landed.
I've had many amazing moments in my life but the most memorable was this trip. I went summer of 2010 for two months. I admit, it was hard being without my mom but I was staying with my favorite sister (which it weird but she’s like a second mom to me). I was so anxious to finally see her, her name is Sara, we're known as the closest in my family, we're like two peas in a pod.
I experienced so many unforgettable events there.  If I was going to the beach or watching a Luau, Hawaii was just incredible. The amazing views, plants and wild life they have. I was not interested in any of it until I went there. I also went to go visit Dog the Bounty Hunter but sadly he wasn’t there so seeing what a creep I am I left him a note on his door saying “Hi Dog it’s Nataly from Colorado I just wanted you to let your son Leland knows that he will be my future husband and not to be scared” I bet he did think of me as a creep and probably put a restraining order on me but hey it’s not my fault. Anyway I also found Hawaii amazing because lots of movies have been filmed there including: Jurassic Park, Along Came Polly, 50 First Dates, The Hulk, Planet of the Apes and many more. I actually went where they filmed Jurassic Park and 50 First Dates (the waffle restaurant)
Hawaii has been the best memory I’ve had and I am looking forward to going there after high school

Future Life

It’s hard to imagine your future in reality because your wanting to see it as a fantasy. But this is how my life is going to be in 10 years. I’m probably going to marry a Mexican that works in construction, he probably will only want to marry me for my papers but that’s why I won’t tell anybody I have papers. Anyway I want to have three kids because I don’t want an only child where he/she will be lonely most of the time nor do I want six kids messing up the entire store of Wal-Mart. I’ll be working as a flight attendant traveling around the world but still having time to spend with my family. I want my mom living with us and not having to work because it’s my time to take care of her like she did 17 years of my life. I know this will never happen but I’ve always wanted all my family literally everybody including the ones that live in Mexico to live in a huge mansion but first of all half of them do not work and second DRAMA! I want to live in Downtown Denver because Colorado is my home state and I could not miss a Broncos game. Or I would like to live by the beach in Hawaii. I just want to live a great life for myself and my family

My belief

I believe anybody can do anything on their own if they put their heart and soul into it. My mom did it; she came to the U.S to look for a better life for herself and children. In the end she became a successful independent woman raising six kids on her own. She taught me not to depend on anybody because they will throw into your face, maybe not now but eventually they will. At times it will be hard being on your own because you will always need a shoulder to cry on or somebody to lean on.
I started realizing this when my mom left for Mexico. She was tired of the same routine and finally wanted to relax and have somebody to take care of her for once. Sadly, I wasn’t able to do that because I’m still attending school and work a part time job of course that job wouldn’t pay all the bills. Being on my own has been rough at times but I believe I can do anything
Another reason why I believe in this is because a lot of successful and famous people have grown up on their own or have really tragic stories of their childhood but they never gave up and now look where they are. For example, Mark Wahlberg grew up foster home after foster home. He would always get into trouble; Mark started as a rapper and now is a famous actor that has been in many successful movies like The Fighter. Don’t let anybody tell you cannot do it because you can, just ignore all the negativity and look at the positive things in life.

Letter to Future self

Dear Nataly Carrillo
I’m hoping you have accomplished all your goals, I remember that you wanted to be a flight attendant and travel to different places. Seeing how hard I worked in high school, I would be very disappointed if you’re still living with mom. It would also be nice to know you came out of your comfort zone. I regret not joining any sports in high school; you could’ve been a flight attendant and a professional volleyball player. I’m thinking you have at least 3 kids and hopefully a hard working husband that will love you unconditionally. I could just imagine how many nephews I have in the future because I already have 13. I just want my future self to love yourself and don’t let others put you down like they use. Keep your head up Nataly

Beauty

Beauty is inspiration of the world to me. It’s what I see things as and I transform them into my own. Beauty can be found in music, paintings and being in love. Things that are raw and real, no acting is where beauty shines most. Beauty shines more on a girl who wears no makeup but is kind to the world opposed to a girl all glammed up acting like a witch. Raw Beauty is man made.

Letter to Mom

Dear Mom,
I wish you were here with me, but you’re in Mexico. You never know what you have until it’s gone and that’s how I felt when you left. I miss having somebody to go to when I was mad, sad, or happy any feelings you can think of. The days we spent together were great; I remember every single day I was with you. Maybe I’m over exaggerating, but I’m really not used to being without you I mean I’ve been with you my whole life. I feel like I’m writing a letter to a boyfriend but none of them can compare to the love I have for you. I’m looking forward to you coming for my graduation, showing you how far I have came and trying to make a better living for you because that’s what you deserve. Yes, I’ve made lots of mistakes in the past, but I learned to grow from them and not to do it again. I apologize if I ever hurt you in any way. I now realize why you were so strict with me; you were just trying to protect me from anybody that tried to hurt me in any way possible. Hopefully, you’re having the time of your life over there in Mexico and make sure my dad is taking good care of you too. Well I’ll see you soon, Love You!
                                                                                                            Love,                                                                                                                                                   Your daughter Nataly
